Somah Studio is an intimate, founder-led training studio in Gurgaon. We teach real AI building — to teens, college students, and working professionals — in tutor-led, in-person batches.
Why we exist
AI tools changed everything about how software, content, and work get done. But a strange gap opened up — most people now use AI casually (AI-as-search), and very few know how to actually build with it.
Somah Studio exists to close that gap. We don't teach AI as a topic — we teach it as a craft. Every cohort, regardless of audience, ships a real artifact: a project a 14-year-old can show their parents on Demo Day, a portfolio web app a college student can put on GitHub, an automation a working professional can use at work the next Monday.
We're built for focused learning. Up to 8 students per batch, offline only, in a real classroom — because the people who'll really benefit from AI fluency don't need another recorded course. They need someone sitting next to them when they get stuck.
The founders
Sandeep Nair
Co-founder, CTO & Chief Trainer
Sandeep is a technology leader and product builder with experience designing technical systems end-to-end, including engineering roles at American Express and Cvent. An alumnus of EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne), his work spans microservices architecture, databases, cloud platforms, and CI/CD pipelines. He has built 5 AI-powered products of his own and personally trains every cohort at Somah Studio.
Jimmy Thomas
Co-founder & Chief Business Officer
Jimmy brings 25+ years of leadership across the global IT industry, with senior sales roles at Microsoft, IBM, Oracle, and HCLSoftware. He has led India and South Asia business across software, security, networking, and AI — and is a frequent keynote speaker at Industry-Academia forums.

Shalini brings 25+ years in education, specialising in student profile-building, holistic development, and leadership growth for higher-education pathways. She is also Founder & President of Yatan NGO, where she has mentored 500+ young people through community-service and youth-empowerment initiatives.

Program Head
Manmeet is a college-admissions and career-guidance expert with over a decade of experience helping students make informed academic and career decisions. She has personally guided 5,000+ students through critical milestones, with a practical, student-focused approach that helps families navigate higher-education pathways with confidence.
